Midlothian held a very successful dinner in the University of Edinburgh's St Leonards' Hall to celebrate the County Team's win at the Scottish County Finals at Ranfurly Castle in September 2005. The dinner was attended by the County Team, members of the County Squad, Officials, Past Captains, Caddies and Supporters of the Association. It was an excellent evening, enjoyed by everyone. One of the highlights was Captain Maggie McPherson's description in rhyme of the Team's progress through the East Inter-Divisional Matches and the Scottish Finals Matches.
