MIDLOTHIAN COUNTY LADIES' GOLF ASSOCIATION

The Midlothian County Ladies' Golf Association Championship Qualifying Competition (36 holes) was played at Newbattle Golf Course. Those tee-ing off first had the worst of the conditions. Luckily the rain eased off and allowed 36 holes to be played. Karen Marshall (Baberton) headed the qualifiers with 150 (76 74). Kirsten Blackwood (Glencorse) was second with 151 (79 72). Fiona de Vries (St Rule) took third place with 152 (76 76), and Claire Hargan (Prestonfield) was fourth on 155 (79 76).

The knock-out match play will also be held at Newbattle on Friday April 30th (tee-off times from 9 am and 2 pm ), with the semi-finals and final on Sunday May 2nd (10 am and 3 pm).
